Q.01 Who are your programs for?
Our programs are built for women and young girls, with a dedicated department — Darus Salaam — for children. Each program page shows exactly who it is for, for example “Sisters, ages 15+” or “Ages 7–12”.
Q.02 I am a complete beginner. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Al-Qā‘idah Nūrāniyyah starts from recognising the Arabic letters and builds up to correct Makhārij and Tajweed step by step. Many of our students began with no reading experience at all.
Q.03 Which languages are classes taught in?
Most programs run in English, and several also have an Urdu batch — for example Al-Qā‘idah Nūrāniyyah (Urdu) and Learning Qur’anic Pathways (English & Urdu). The language is listed on every program page.
Q.04 Which departments and subjects do you offer?
Six departments: Darul Qur’an (Qur’an & Seerah), Darul Tarteel (recitation & Tajweed), Darul Ilm (the Aalimah program), Darus Salaam (children), Darul Falah (Tarbiyah & workshops) and Darul Khidmah (social services & relief).
Q.05 Do you offer one-on-one classes?
Yes. Learning Qur’anic Pathways (LQP) is a personal one-on-one track — from foundational reading and Hifdh to recitation correction and Ijazah preparation — with short daily sessions.
Q.06 Do you have programs for children?
Yes. Darus Salaam runs Al-Qā‘idah Nūrāniyyah for Kids, Juzz Amma memorisation (ages 7–12), a Hifz program and faith-building courses that nurture love for Allah ﷻ and the Sunnah.
Q.07 How much do courses cost?
It depends on the program, and some are completely free as a Sadaqah initiative (such as the Maqraa program and several workshops). The exact fee — and whether it is monthly or one-time — is shown on each program page.
Q.08 How do I register for a program?
Open the program you are interested in and press its “Register” button. That takes you to the registration form. Seats are limited for many programs, and some require advance payment to confirm your place.
Q.09 How can I support Darul Hikmah?
You can give Sadaqah or Zakat through our LaunchGood campaign. Donations support Qur’an education and the humanitarian relief work of Darul Khidmah.
Q.10 Where do classes take place?
Classes are live and online (usually on Google Meet), so you can join from anywhere in the world. Timings are listed in several time zones — for example EST, KSA, PKT and IST — on each program page.
Q.11 How do I access my lessons and recordings?
Enrolled students use the Student Portal at courses.darulhikmah.ca to find their classes, lessons and materials.
Q.12 How can I stay updated about new programs?
Follow our WhatsApp Channel, Telegram, YouTube and Instagram — new batches, workshops and reminders are announced there first.
